We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 1 night, even so everything was fine. The breakfast had lots of food, like breads, coffee, cereals, eggs, and cheese. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk away from a Catholic church. Nothing to complain about, appreciated this place and recommend.
Nothing all excellent!

Liked how the well-equipped double room with a large private bathroom was arranged when we arrived. Location: the hotel was very close to THE HILL, shopping mall and the bus station...

Stayed for 1 day and did not want to leave there, I would stay here again. The hotel was a lovely base for enjoying a well kept area, close to THE HILL that one must ascend walking into town, TAGUS HOST, and good restaurants. I loved the room with a large private bathroom. Central heating, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator were provided. The location of this venue was favourable and absolutely perfect. Btw, it was a 10-15 minute walk from Miradouro Portas do Sol Park.
Nothing to mention.

The lack of an elevator in the building. the stairs can be a bit challenging, especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tagus Host for two nights during our visit to Santarem. Carlos, the host, made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The room was clean and quiet, providing the perfect place to rest after a long day of exploring. The highlight was the self-service breakfast with a variety of options, including homemade bread that was simply delicious. The staff were helpful and the location was central, making it easy to access all the main spots in the city.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with easy access to the old town and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The service provided by the host is exceptional, with a warm and welcoming attitude. The continental breakfast offered is delicious, with a variety of options available including fresh bread, ham, cheese, and cereals. The facilities in the hotel are well-maintained and there is ample seating area for guests to relax in.
One small downside is that the rooms might not have a view to the outside, as some windows open to an enclosed terrace. However, this can be manageable if you are visiting in the winter when ventilation is not a major concern.
